SCORES (Grievance Redressal)
SCORES is SEBI's online platform where investors can lodge complaints against listed companies and market intermediaries and track their resolution.
SCORES (SEBI Complaints Redress System) lets any investor file a grievance, against a broker, company, mutual fund, or other intermediary, online and monitor its status until resolved. It centralises complaints and enforces response timelines.
If a broker or company ignores or unsatisfactorily handles your complaint, SCORES escalates it within SEBI. India has also introduced an Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) mechanism for arbitration. Knowing these channels empowers retail investors to assert their rights.
